Grisell Welander

Grisell Welander has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Grisell began their career as a Medical Specialist in the U.S. Army, where they performed various medical tasks such as patient scheduling, administering injections, and medical billing. Grisell then transitioned to the U.S. National Guard, serving as a Supply Specialist responsible for order equipment and dispatching drivers.

After their military service, Welander worked as an Order Puller and Data Entry clerk at AmerisourceBergen. Grisell then joined U.S. Xpress, Inc., where they held multiple roles including CSR/Outbound/Dispatcher, Assistant Equipment Coordinator, and Equipment Coordinator. In these positions, they handled customer service, fleet management, dispatching, and logistics coordination.

Welander continued their career as a Sr. Transportation Analyst at Trinity Industries and later at Arcosa Inc. In these roles, they monitored shipping processes, resolved discrepancies, communicated with customers and carriers, and maintained partnerships with manufacturing plants and customers. Additionally, they handled the generation and delivery of bills of lading, packing lists, and purchase orders.

Grisell Welander attended Charter Oak High School from 1990 to 1993. After high school, they enrolled in Cerritos College, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Grisell then pursued further education at the University of Phoenix, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Transportation and Materials Moving. In addition to their formal education, Grisell obtained a certification in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn in October 2020.
