Megan Wade

Megan Wade, RN, BSN has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Megan began their career as an Intensive Care and Emergency Room Nurse at Audubon Hospital from 1999 to 2003. Megan then transitioned into the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, starting with AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals as a Cardiovascular Account Sales Specialist from 2003 to 2010. During this time, they achieved Circle of Excellence accolades and gained experience selling cardiovascular, GI, and diabetic prescription drugs.

Following this, Megan worked at CareFusion as a Vascular Sales Consultant from 2010 to 2012, where they managed sales and growth of drug infusion disposables in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. Megan consistently exceeded sales targets, achieving 170% to plan.

In 2012, they joined Ethicon as a Territory Sales Representative, focused on the Biosurgery division. Megan'sresponsibilities included calling on surgeons, VA teams, purchasing departments, and C-suite level professionals. Megan was recognized as Rookie of the Year and won multiple awards for their achievements, including securing system-wide contracts, university hospital contracts, and organizing training labs.

In 2015, Megan briefly worked as a Territory Manager at Cardiovascular Systems, Inc., before becoming a Small Business Owner at Pure Barre New Albany, IN. Megan successfully operated their own small business until 2020.

Megan'smost recent roles include Specialty Sales Representative at Pfizer from 2019 to 2021, where they focused on the Women's Health division and co-promoted Exact Sciences' diagnostic product for colorectal cancer. Megan then joined BTG Specialty Pharmaceuticals as a Territory Sales Manager in 2021, where they managed a territory and sales operations.

Currently, Megan Wade is employed as an Area Business Director at Ardelyx, Inc., beginning in October 2022.
