Mel Dawson

Mel Dawson is an experienced SQL Developer and Analyst with a robust career spanning several organizations from 1984 to the present. Currently, Mel holds dual roles as SQL Developer/Analyst at Hays Travel and Ardent Hire Solutions Ltd since 2017 and 2016, respectively. Prior to these positions, Mel developed expertise in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 at Emtelle and AAF Air Filters. Earlier experience includes significant contributions as a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Developer at Northgate Plc and a Software Development Manager at Arriva plc, leading a team of developers on IBM AS400 systems. Mel began a career in software development as a Senior Developer at T Cowie plc, focusing on RPG-based systems. Mel holds a BSc in Maths/Physics from Newcastle University and completed education at Wolsingham Grammar School.
