Agata Miezaniec, PhD

Agata Miezaniec, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Agata'smost recent position was at Ardigen, where they held the title of Senior Business Development Manager for the US market starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Development Manager for the same company from 2020 to 2021.

Before joining Ardigen, Agata worked as a Medical Operations Coordinator at Syneos Health (Previously INC Research/inVentiv Health) from 2019 to 2019. Agata also gained experience as a Research Scientist at EpimAb Biotherapeutics, Inc. in 2018.

Agata's academic history includes a role as a PhD Researcher at The University of Nottingham from 2015 to 2018. During this time, they managed an independent research project on the link between epigenetics and energy metabolism. Agata also mentored and trained a team of seven students and presented their research project at national and international levels.

Prior to their PhD, Agata worked as a Research Assistant at the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in 2014 and as a Team Member at PMArt Project Management Academic Club in 2014-2015. Agata also had research experience as a Visiting Graduate Student and Research Assistant at the University of Virginia from 2013 to 2014 and as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences in 2013.

Agata started their research career as a Student Researcher at Warsaw University of Technology in 2012, where they optimized a method for the preparation of an intermediate compound of the antitumor drug Taxol for their Bachelor's/Engineer's thesis.

Throughout their various roles, Agata has gained experience in areas such as HPLC-MS, MS/MS, cell culture, Western blotting, cytotoxicity assays, flow cytometry, drug discovery, yeast transformation, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

Agata Miezaniec, PhD has an extensive education history in the field of chemistry and engineering. Agata obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to their PhD, Agata was a Visiting Graduate Student at the University of Virginia in 2013 and 2014, specializing in Cell Signaling.

Agata also holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Chemical Technology from the Warsaw University of Technology, which they completed from 2013 to 2015. Agata began their academic journey in the same institution, earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Chemical Technology from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their academic achievements, Agata Miezaniec has obtained Level 1 certification from Sandler Training in December 2020.
