Barbara Ściborowska

Barbara Ściborowska has extensive experience in the field of data engineering, data analysis, and natural language processing. Barbara is currently working as a Data Engineer at Ardigen since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at UBS from February 2021 to April 2022, where they held the role of Data Engineer and Tech Engineer. In this role, they built high-quality data pipelines using Python and Spark and worked with Apache Airflow in a cloud environment. Barbara also utilized the Hadoop platform for distributed processing of big data and worked with data warehouse technologies like Hive. Barbara also worked as a Data Analyst at UBS from January 2020 to January 2021, where their responsibilities included data harvesting, processing, and analyzing trends among mobile applications. Barbara also built economic models and maintained Python scripts to support these processes.

Before joining UBS, Barbara worked at Atos from July 2018 to December 2019, where they held the role of Data Scientist and Junior Business Consultant. In this role, they collaborated with Atos Research & Innovation hub in Spain to conduct research and development activities in the field of natural language processing. Barbara conducted data analysis and preprocessing, developed machine learning models, and created visualizations for sequential time data to improve product quality in a paper factory. Barbara also worked in a multidisciplinary scrum team to design and develop a technical chatbot assistant for a client in an international setting.

Barbara Ściborowska started their education at Jagiellonian University in 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Mathematics. Barbara completed this degree in 2015 and then continued their education at Jagiellonian University by enrolling in a Master's degree program in Computer Science. Barbara obtained their Master's degree in Computer Science in 2017. Following that, Barbara pursued a Bachelor's degree in Theoretical Physics at Jagiellonian University from 2017 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Barbara has obtained several certifications. Barbara completed courses such as "Art and Science of Machine Learning," "Machine Learning with TensorFlow on Google Cloud Platform Specialization," "Feature Engineering," "Intro to TensorFlow," "How Google does Machine Learning," "Launching into Machine Learning," and "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals" through Coursera.
