Suraj Batra

Suraj Batra is a Technical Manager at Ardmore Shipping. Suraj has over 20 years of experience in the maritime industry.

Suraj started their career as a Marine Engineer with Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA in 1998. Suraj then worked as a Chief Engineer with Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Bourbon as a Chief Engineer and was with the company till 2010. Thereafter, they joined Thome Ship Management PTE. LTD. as a Technical Superintendent and served the company till 2012. Suraj was then Fleet Manager with THOME GROUP OF COMPANIES from 2012 till 2018, after which they joined Ardmore Shipping as a Technical Manager.

Suraj Batra has a degree in Marine Engineering from City of Glasgow College. Suraj is also certified from the Irish Management Institute in Finance for Non finance specialists and Competetive Strategy from Coursera.

Suraj Batra works with Swenson Chen - Deputy Chartering Manager, Mona Holden - Talent Development Manager, and LaiWan Chow - Voyage Manager Singapore. Their manager is Mark Cameron, EVP & COO.
