Ciaran Burns has had a diverse work experience in various companies. Ciaran started their career at KPMG as an Audit Senior from September 1986 to August 1990. Then they worked at GE Capital as a Senior Manager from September 1990 to December 2001. After that, they joined Friends First Finance as a Finance Director from January 2002 to November 2006. Currently, they are the Chief Financial Officer at Ardstone, a European real estate investment manager.
Ciaran Burns started their education at St. Benildus College from 1976 to 1982 and obtained their Leaving Certificate. Ciaran then attended University College Dublin from 1982 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Marketing, Accounting, and Economics. Afterwards, from 1985 to 1986, Ciaran pursued a Diploma in Professional Accounting at University College Dublin, specializing in Accounting, Tax, Auditing, and Business Finance. Finally, they completed their education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants from 1986 to 1989, gaining the title of FCA (Fellow Chartered Accountant) with a concentration in Accounting.
