As a Production Apprentice, Luke is excited to learn the different stages of AREA 17’s creative process––from ideation to delivery–– alongside a team of multi-disciplinary collaborators.
Prior to AREA 17, Luke attended the College of New Jersey and worked on campus as a Digital Production Intern, collaborating with peers to modernize the College’s brand. In the summers, Luke helps manage a busy family-owned cafe on the Jersey Shore called Lava Java. While pursuing his BFA in the Visual Arts, Luke had the opportunity to produce work across a range of art and tech mediums, spanning from illustration to musical theater to website production.
Outside of work, Luke is obsessed with exploring the outdoors and getting lost in learning about the physical and political geographies that compose our world. His favorite places on Earth––for now––are the vast National Parks of the western United States including Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, and Mesa Verde. As for a few fun facts: Luke was a school mascot for 8 years, he is learning Italian and he avidly collects old photo and video cameras.
