Leeford Grant has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of sports apparel design. Leeford has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Leeford worked as a Design Consultant at Leefords Design from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they were the Head of Apparel Design at Warrior Sports from 2011 to 2013 and the Head of Apparel Design at Pelé Sports USA, Inc. from 2008 to 2011. Leeford also had a significant role as a Lead Apparel Designer at adidas from 1991 to 1994, where they worked in the international design center in France before being relocated to the company's headquarters in Germany. Leeford founded Esmin srl and served as the Design Director for the company from 1994 to 2008, working exclusively with adidas HQ and Erima in Germany. Leeford then joined The City of Liverpool College as a student in 3D design and later became a Lecturer in Event Management from 2016 to 2017. Most recently, they held the position of Head of Sports Apparel Design at Arena from 2017 to 2023. Leeford Grant's experience demonstrates their expertise and knowledge in design, manufacturing, and marketing in the sports apparel industry.
Leeford Grant obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design Transportation from Coventry University from 1981 to 1985. Prior to that, from 1976 to 1979, they completed a City and Guilds Full Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Product Design at Barker Butts Technical College Coventry. In 2019, they received a certificate in Virtual Fashion Design: the new real from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Most recently, in 2022, they earned a certificate in Italian Language and Literature from Università degli Studi di Siena.
