Simon Gillott

Simon Gillott began their work experience as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG UK in 2005, where they focused on audit work. Simon later transitioned to the role of Corporate Finance Associate, specializing in M&A. In 2012, Gillott joined Alantra as a Vice President in Investment Banking M&A. In 2014, they joined Arena Events Group plc as the Group Corporate Finance Manager and FP&A. During their time there, they played a key role in managing acquisitions, coordinating financial improvement initiatives, and overseeing the company's IPO diligence and financial work streams for its listing on the London Stock Exchange. In 2017, Gillott was promoted to Finance Director for the Middle East & Asia division of Arena Events Group plc, a role they held until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Europe, Middle East & Asia region at Arena Events Group plc. In 2022, Gillott took on the position of Group Chief Financial Officer at both Arena Europe, Middle East & Asia and Arena Americas.

Simon Gillott attended Epsom College from 1995 to 2000. From 2001 to 2005, they studied at Alliance Manchester Business School, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management. In 2003 and 2004, Simon attended ESC Bordeaux (Bordeaux School of Management), where they focused on finance. Later, from 2005 to 2008, they pursued further professional qualifications at ICAEW, obtaining the ACA designation.
