Jean Montagne

Architect at AREP

Jean Montagne is an accomplished architect with diverse experience in both contemporary architecture and heritage conservation. Currently serving as an Architect at AREP since December 2022, Jean focuses on the conception of railway stations. Previously, Jean worked as a heritage conservation architect at Pierre-Antoine Gatier, specializing in the restoration and conservation of French Historical Monuments in the Indian Ocean's Islands. Additional roles include production of graphic elements for architectural projects at QUADRA ARCHITECTURES and planning conservation projects for Historical Monuments in Paris and Rome as an intern heritage architect at Pierre-Antoine Gatier. Jean's formative experiences include internships in various architectural capacities, including project design at junya.ishigami+associates and restoration efforts in Portugal with Union "REMPART." Jean holds multiple degrees in architecture and conservation from prestigious institutions including École nationale supérieure d'architecture de la Réunion and Sapienza Università di Roma.
