Dan Zwinck has a diverse range of work experience in the field of technology and security. Dan started their career at VizionTech Services in 2003, where they managed networks and computing environments for schools and medical clinics. During this time, they were responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying network and computing hardware and software.
In 2009, Zwinck joined Pro2Serve as a Network Engineer. Here, they managed the field deployment of a large-scale mobile wireless mesh network for Northrop Grumman's RVA Program at Malmstrom AFB ICBM missile field. Their role included managing subcontractors, designing and configuring hardware, and optimizing and monitoring the network.
Zwinck then joined Confluence Security Group, Inc. in 2011, where they held multiple roles. As the Director of Systems Deployment from 2011 to 2016, they focused on wireless technologies and network security. Dan handled the wireless design, configuration, and installation for contracting companies on Air Force and other DoD facilities nationwide. From 2016 to 2020, Zwinck served as the COO/VP of Engineering, overseeing project deployments for Confluence Security Group. During this time, they successfully managed the design, configuration, and execution of various projects for both private and government sectors, including metro transit solutions, video management infrastructure modernization, remote wireless video surveillance projects for DoD branches, and consulting on physical security technologies for international governments.
Most recently, in 2020, Zwinck joined ARES Security Corporation as the Director of Solutions Engineering and Robotics, a role in which they currently serve.
Dan Zwinck obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Dan completed their undergraduate studies from 2001 to 2004.
