Stephen Sibson

A tenacious problem solver, focused on customer service and continuous improvement, Stephen Sibson CEng FIChemE PhD is Argenta’s Global Head of Manufacturing. His pet Collie, Archer, helps give meaning to the work he does for animal health.

Stephen's 25+ year career in pharmaceutical manufacturing has taken him all around the world. After graduating with a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, he began with GSK in API manufacturing. He then joined Pfizer where he held multiple leadership roles in both the UK and Puerto Rico before joining Novartis to lead their Dundee site in 2014. He joined Elanco in 2015 after the sale of the Novartis Animal Health business and then the Argenta team in 2017 after our purchase of the site.
