Sagar Jaiswal

Sagar Jaiswal's work experience includes serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Cence Power (formerly Argentum), where they played a leadership role in developing groundbreaking technology for power distribution. Sagar also worked as a Data Engineer at Visa, where they utilized web scraping techniques to gather bank holiday data and developed a high-performance Java API. Additionally, they worked as an Application Developer at Lutra Consulting, contributing significantly to the development of QGIS and the Crayfish plugin. Sagar also gained experience as an Electro Mechanical Engineer at Konecranes, where they designed and implemented various systems, and as a Research Placement at Technotomy Ltd, conducting advanced Java coding and research on computer vision. Sagar has recently taken on the role of an Alumni Ambassador at NEXT Canada.

Sagar Jaiswal completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton from 2015 to 2018. Sagar then pursued their Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at the University of Toronto from 2018 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Sagar obtained certifications in Java course completion from SoloLearn in September 2016, and in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates, also in September 2016.
