Carl Haste

Carl Haste has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Carl started their career as an IT Business Analyst at Eli Lilly and Company in 2003. Throughout their time at the company, they held various roles such as Regional IT Business Integrator, Scientific Platform Support Leader, LRL IT European Solution Services Leader, and BU IT Global Commercial Operations - Chief of Staff. Carl also served as the Operations Manager and Chief of Staff in the BU IT Global Shared Services department. In their last role at Eli Lilly, they were the IT Delivery Manager for the Medical Affairs IT team. In 2018, they joined Jazz Pharmaceuticals as the Associate Director, International Commercial IS Business Partner. Carl also worked as a Freelance Consultant specializing in General Data Protection Regulation readiness during the same year. Most recently, Carl Haste was appointed as the EMEA Commercial & Medical Affairs BIS Lead at argenx in 2023.

Carl Haste attended the University of Surrey from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computing and Information Technology. Prior to university, Carl attended the City of London Freemans School. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from ITIL, including ITILv3 Foundation in January 2011 and ITIL v2 Management: Service Support and Delivery in 2010.
