Brett Hamilton serves as the Senior Vice President of Microelectronics & Advanced Technology Strategy at the Applied Research Institute (ARI) since January 2023, focusing on enhancing regional technical capabilities and fostering economic development through innovation. Prior to joining ARI, Brett held the position of Distinguished Scientist for Trusted Microelectronics at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane) from October 2017 to December 2022, where significant contributions were made to establish NSWC Crane as a leader in hardware assurance and supply chain security. Additionally, experiences include serving as Deputy Principal Director for Microelectronics at the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, and Chief Engineer for Trusted Microelectronics at NSWC Crane from 2000 to 2017. Brett holds a Bachelor's Degree in Particle Accelerator Diagnostics Systems Engineering from Indiana University Bloomington, complemented by an Associate's Degree in Electronics Communications Technology from Ivy Tech.
