Benjamin Lanier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Benjamin began their career with a marketing internship at Air France in 2000. Benjamin then worked as a chancellery administrative assistant at the Consulat Général de France en Chine, where they managed the SARS outbreak and assisted the French community with administrative procedures. Lanier later worked as an associate consultant at Templar International Search, where they located and screened candidates for executive positions in Hong Kong and China.
In 2007, they joined Maison de la Chine as a projects leader for groups and individuals, where they designed and elaborated packaged products for China and served as a tour leader for a group. Lanier then worked as a sales manager at Air China, negotiating contracts and diversifying the B2B client portfolio.
From 2011 to 2017, they served as the country manager and general manager for France and Benelux at Austrian Airlines, leading an international team and restoring commercial relationships for the Lufthansa group. Lanier then worked as the director of sales and marketing at UVET France, managing a team and reactivating a pipeline of 84 million euros.
In 2018, they became the director of strategy and business development at Éloge du Monde, where they secured the customer base, acquired new B2B and B2C customers, and handled the Covid-19 crisis. Lanier later served as the director of sales and business development at LeCab, where they recruited and structured a team, defined sales objectives, and visited key B2B customers during the transition.
Currently, Lanier is the head of the Strategy, Marketing, and Business Intelligence department at Arianespace. Their responsibilities include defining sales strategy, implementing marketing strategy, supporting the sales team, and managing a team.
Benjamin Lanier has a diverse education history. In 1999, they began their studies at NEOMA Business School, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management in 2004. During the same period, from 2001 to 2004, they also studied at Tongji University and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. In 2005, Benjamin pursued their interest in Public Law at Université Paris-Saclay and received a Licence degree. Later, in 2018 and 2019, they attended INSEAD and completed the Global Executive Master of Business Administration program. Additionally, in 2019, they obtained a certification in the INSEAD Executive Master of Business of Administration.
