Hella Berkhout

Hella Berkhout has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry. Hella has held various roles with different companies throughout their career. Their most recent role was as a Clinical Trial Director (contractor) at Ariceum Therapeutics starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Clinical Trial Lead at Kinarus Therapeutics from August 2022 to May 2023. Hella also served as an Associate Director in EU Clinical Operations at Novartis from November 2020 to April 2022. Before that, they were an Associate Director in EU Clinical Operations at AveXis, Inc. from July 2018 to November 2020, where they were responsible for managing and overseeing clinical studies in Europe. Hella also has experience as a Senior Project Manager at Aurismedical from March 2016 to February 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Dedicated Line Manager at Quintiles from October 2010 to November 2015. Hella's earlier experience includes roles such as Global Study Manager and Global Clinical Operation Associate at F. Hella Berkhout pursued their education in a chronological order. From 1986 to 1989, they attended Hogeschool in the Netherlands and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Microbiology and Ecology. Later, in 2021, they enrolled in IPMA Swiss and completed a Level D Project Management program. As a result, they obtained the "IPMA level D Project Management" certification from the International Project Management Association. Furthermore, Hella Berkhout has plans to obtain a certificate in Advanced Studies in Pharmaceutical Medicine from the University of Basel in June 2023.
