Joe Lichy

Joe Lichy has over 30 years of work experience in the engineering field. Joe began their career in 1987 as an intern at Motorola, Inc. where they developed BiCmos ICs and analytic models for IC leads. In 1990, they joined Intel Corp. as a Design Engineer and was responsible for the design and testing of microprocessors and multi-chip modules. Joe also developed a cache architecture for 486DX2 and was granted a US patent. Joe then moved on to QED/PMC-Sierra in 1994 as a Principal Engineer. In 2002, they became President/VP of Engineering at NuEdison/Silicon Valley Solar. In 2009, they were appointed Director of Technology at Skywatch Energy. From 2010 to 2017, Joe worked as an Independent Contractor and Venture Engineer. Joe then joined Eximius Design, LLC as a Distinguished Engineer in 2017. In 2018, Joe joined Google as an ASIC Physical Design Engineering Tech Lead & Manager. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as a Physcial Design Engineer at Aril Computer.

Joe Lichy attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Electrical Engineering.
