Ari Pitkanen

Ari Pitkanen has over 17 years of experience in engineering, primarily in the field of automation and controls. Ari has held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Arimation Robotics since November 2020, and was previously the Founder and CEO of the same company from January 2020 to November 2020. Before that, from 2012 to 2020, they worked at PERBIX, MGS, a Coesia Company, and Aspect Automation as a Senior Controls Engineer and Control Engineer, respectively. At MGS, they also served as a Senior Lead Controls Engineer, leading multiple multimillion-dollar projects while directing the work of electrical drafters, designers, electricians, and machine assembly technicians. Prior to that, they worked as a Controls Engineer at Hutchinson Technology Inc. and a Software Engineer at Boston Scientific. Throughout their career, they have focused on defining best practices and standards for the companies they have worked with and has mentored younger engineers to help them achieve success in their projects.

Ari Pitkanen obtained an Associate's Degree in Production Technology from the Vocational School of the City of Järvenpää, Finland in 1996. Ari then attended Helsinki Polytechnic, Finland where they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Machine Automation, which lasted from 1998 to 2003.
