Tim Bright has worked in various roles in the events and production industry since 2012. Tim began their career at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image as an Assistant Producer for Public Programs. In 2014, they worked as a Lighting Technician and System Design for Tooth and Claw, and a Video and Lighting Designer for a Music Video. Tim then worked as a Tour Manager for First Things First in 2015, and was the Festival Producer for Pause Fest in 2014. In 2016, they became the Events Director for Myriad Live, and then moved to Academy Xi as the National Head of Events and Programs in 2017. In 2018, they began working at the University of Melbourne as the Events and Activations Manager for Melbourne Connect, Events, Marketing and Communications Manager for the Melbourne Accelerator Program, and Events Manager for the Melbourne Accelerator Program. Currently, they are the Head of Production for Joyn (Formerly Delegate Connect).
Tim Bright has a diverse educational background. Tim completed their HSC at Oxford College, Bowral, NSW from 1998 to 2001. Tim then attended UNSW for a Bachelor of International Studies in 2003 and a Bachelor of Digital Media from 2004 to 2006. In 2008, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Production with a focus in Sound Design at the University of Melbourne. In 2009, they obtained a Working with Children certification from the Victoria State Government. In 2010, they obtained an EWP License. In 2011, they obtained a High Risk Work (Dogging) certification. Finally, in 2019, they obtained a First Aid and CPR certification from St Johns First Aid.
