Sonia Ruiz

Sonia Ruiz is a licensed professional counselor currently working at Spring Branch Community Health Center since July 2024 and also serves as a therapist at Arise Recovery Centers since May 2021. Previously, Sonia held the position of lead medical assistant at The Craniofacial & Plastic Surgery Center Houston from April 2014 to August 2023 and worked as a therapist at The Right Step Houston for a brief period in early 2021. Additionally, Sonia completed a practicum at Ferndell Henry Center for Learning in 2018-2019. Sonia holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Houston Christian University, completed in 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sam Houston State University, earned in 2012.
