Gaurang Patel

Gaurang Patel has extensive work experience in software development and application support. Gaurang started as a Java Developer at GlobalFoundries, where they designed application models and created web services using SOAP, CXF, and XML. Gaurang was also responsible for integration testing and front-end development using HTML, CSS, JSP, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, and XML.

After that, Gaurang worked as a Senior Software Developer at AMD, where they gathered requirements, designed systems, and implemented process improvements. Gaurang developed Restful Web Services using JAX-RS and Jersey framework to analyze data for the supply chain team.

Following their role at AMD, Gaurang joined Allstate as an Application Support Lead. Gaurang supported tier one applications with a focus on high availability and was a liaison between IT and different business product teams. Gaurang provided solutions and workarounds for problem and incident tickets and analyzed new emerging business requirements for system enhancements.

Most recently, Gaurang worked at Arity as an Application Support Lead. Gaurang provided support for the Arity SaaS product platform, prepared and presented reports on support case volume and response time, and proactively monitored platform health to ensure customer satisfaction.
