Marcus Gayton

Marcus Gayton has a diverse work history spanning multiple industries and roles. Marcus started their career at Radio Shack in 1993 as an Area Sales Manager and worked there until 1999. Following that, they served in the United States Marine Corps as a Platoon Sergeant from 1999 to 2009 and later as a Tank Commander from 2010 to 2013. In 2014, Marcus worked as a Technician at DIRECTV and also became a Scuba Diving Instructor at Inland Water Divers LLC. Marcus then transitioned to Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable) where they held the position of Technical Operations Supervisor from 2005 to 2014. In 2016, Marcus joined the Arizona Department of Revenue as a Revenue Auditor/Project Manager. Marcus then took on roles such as DOR Treasury Administrator, Business Analyst, and Systems Network Senior Manager within the same organization from 2017 to the present. In 2020, they also served as a Business Analyst at EVALCORP Research & Consulting. Marcus has acquired a wide range of skills and experience throughout their career, including customer service, problem-solving, budgeting, and employee issue resolution.

Marcus Gayton completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. Marcus attended this institution from 2014 to 2017. Marcus then pursued a Masters of Information Systems with a Graduate Business Analytics Certificate from the University of Phoenix, specializing in Information Technology Project Management, from 2018 to 2020.
