David Or has over 10 years of professional experience in the game development and multimedia industry. In 2011, they began their career as Vice President of Game Production at Arkadium. David then moved on to become Director of Product Engineering, Interactive Content, where they led a team of 14+ product engineers, improved task management tools, production processes, and art pipelines, and created an R&D culture. In 2009, they co-owned and developed the website for Lee House Chinese Restaurant. From 2008-2006, they held various roles at Massive Incorporated, Dansology, Inc, Barbara Confino, and DesignAttic, Multimedia. In 2019, they became a Thesis Advisor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, and in 2017, an Adjunct Professor of Game Design at Bloomfield College. David has also worked as a Production Assistant at Codeblack Films.
David Or has a long history of education and certifications. In 1999, they graduated from Bronx High School of Science with a High School Diploma in Computer Science. From 2003 to 2006, they attended New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. David then continued their studies at the same school, graduating in 2007 with their Master of Science in Integrated Digital Media. In 2015, they obtained their Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance. In 2020, they were certified as an Accessible Player Experience Practitioner from The AbleGamers Charity. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained their Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance.
