Lead Executive, Enterprise Information Security at Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield

Devin Shirley has a diverse work experience with expertise in information security and technology management. Devin started their career as a Signal Officer in the U.S. Army from 1996 to 2001. Following their military service, they worked as an IT Manager at TriQuint Semiconductor from 2001 to 2004. Devin then served as a Convergence Analyst at Baptist Health from 2004 to 2005 before joining Alltel as a Sr. Marketing Analyst from 2005 to 2007. Devin then moved to Windstream and held various managerial roles, including Manager of Data Network Operations from 2007 to 2012, Manager of Data Solutions Engineering from 2013 to 2015, and Staff Manager from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, Devin transitioned to healthcare, joining Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield as the Director of Enterprise Information Security. Devin later assumed the roles of Manager of Technology Business Solutions from January 2016 to July 2016, and eventually became the Lead Executive and Chief Information Security Officer in September 2017. Recently, in April 2022, Devin Shirley became the Lead Executive for Enterprise Information Security at Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield.

In addition to their corporate experience, Devin is also the President and Chief Instructor of Krav Fit since 2004, demonstrating their leadership and commitment to their field. Devin holds certifications as a C-CISO, CISSP, and CRISC, emphasizing their expertise in information security.

Devin Shirley holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. Devin also pursued a Master's degree in Telecommunications Management from Oklahoma State University, which they completed from 1999 to 2000. In terms of certifications, Devin has achieved several notable credentials, including being a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO) from EC-Council, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², and a Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) from ISACA, among others.
