Vice President, Environmental Issues at Arkansas Farm Bureau

Evan Teague, PE, MBA has a diverse range of work experience spanning over three decades. Evan started their career as a Summer Intern at the Arkansas Department of Transportation, where they gained experience in road construction and quality control. Evan then worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Arkansas College of Engineering, focusing on water quality sampling and soils mechanics. Following this, Evan joined Tyson Foods as a Structural Engineer Intern, where they contributed to the design of structural steel systems for processing plant expansions.

After their time at Tyson Foods, Evan joined Garver, a leading engineering firm, as an Associate and Sr. Project Engineer. During their tenure, they worked on various projects involving the analysis and design of concrete, steel, and aluminum structures, as well as pump stations, tanks, pipelines, and water and wastewater treatment plants.

Evan's career then took a shift as they joined Arkansas Farm Bureau, where they held several key roles. As the Vice President of Environmental Issues, they led a team of technical professionals and advised the board of directors on state and federal regulatory issues impacting agriculture. In their subsequent role as Vice President of Commodity & Regulatory Affairs, Evan supervised the administration of six state-legislated commodity check-off programs and managed a significant departmental budget. Prior to these positions, they served as the Environmental Specialist and Director of Environmental & Regulatory Affairs, coordinating policy development and implementation, serving as an expert resource, and liaising with regulatory agencies.

Throughout their career, Evan has demonstrated expertise in engineering, project management, policy development, and regulatory affairs. Evan'sextensive experience in the agricultural and engineering sectors makes him a valuable asset to any organization.

Evan Teague, PE, MBA, has a diverse educational background. Evan obtained their Master's of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Arkansas - Sam M. Walton College of Business from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they pursued an Master's of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Arkansas from 1995 to 1996. Evan earned their Bachelor's of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Civil Engineering from Arkansas State University from 1992 to 1995. Evan began their academic journey at Ouachita Baptist University from 1989 to 1992, where they studied Physics.

In addition to their academic degrees, Evan Teague also holds several certifications. Evan obtained the Statistics Foundations: 2 certification from LinkedIn in August 2021. Additionally, they are a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) obtained from the Arkansas State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers & Professional Surveyors in May 2000.
