Ed Leon has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Ed started their career as a Senior Producer at MTV and Fox Television before moving on to become a Supervising Producer at NBCUniversal, overseeing the daily variety/talk series "The Other Half." Ed then became an Executive Producer/Co-Creator at Twentieth Television and Executive Producer/Creator at Sony Pictures Entertainment. Ed also served as the Senior Vice President of Programming & Production at NUVOtv (now Fuse Media), where they developed and produced original TV series for the first English language cable network and media brand for acculturated Latinos. Ed later worked as a Senior Producer on the top-rated talk series "Dr. Phil" at CBS Television Distribution. Ed then became the President of New Bag Productions, Inc., leading the strategy, development, and production of series programming for basic cable and networks. After, they joined The Great Courses as the Chief Brand Officer, where they headed content creation, brand marketing, and creative media production. Currently, Ed is the Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer at Arkansas PBS, where they are leading the operational strategy and content operations for a statewide PBS broadcaster and multiplatform media production company.

Ed Leon obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Loyola Marymount University between 1979 and 1983.
