Michael Washington, M.B.A has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Michael began their career at Monsanto in 1993 as a Process Engineer/Production & Operations Manager, where they oversaw multiple manufacturing units and successfully achieved operational goals. Michael then joined Arkema in 2005 as a Sr. Regional HES/Loss Control Manager before transitioning to BASF in 2011 as a Sr. Process Safety and Risk Specialist. In 2018, they returned to Arkema as a Corporate Senior Manager, overseeing industrial safety for the Americas. Currently, they hold the role of Director, Industrial Safety for the Americas at Arkema.
Michael Washington, M.B.A has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University. Michael attended Jersey Village High School from 1984 to 1988. Michael also earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) degree in Business/Commerce, General from Texas Southern University from 2011 to 2013. Furthermore, they obtained a Masters Degree in Safety Engineering with a focus on Process Safety from Texas A&M University from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they completed a Leadership Development Program in Leadership at Cornell University.
