Steve Kansa has worked in a variety of roles in the UX design field, starting with a Real Estate Analyst role at Invitation Homes in 2012. In 2010, they worked as an MHA Specialist at Money Management International, where they assessed clients' mortgage situations and provided tailored recommendations. In 2015, they began working as a UX Design Intern at Travelport, where they were responsible for designing and developing internal training materials. In 2016, they worked as a UX Designer at both Elavon, Inc. and Cox Automotive Inc. In 2017, they became a Senior UX Designer at The Home Depot, and in 2022 they were appointed Head of UX at Arkestro.
Steve Kansa's education history includes graduating from Mentor High School in 1993, earning a B.A. in Psychology from Kent State University in 1997, and completing a Master's degree in Information Design and Communications and a Masters of Science in Information Technology from Kennesaw State University in 2016. Steve has also obtained additional certifications from The Interaction Design Foundation, Southern Polytechnic State University, and UserTesting.
