Derek Jankowski has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Derek currently serves as the Head of SMB Sales at Arketa since March 2023. Prior to this role, Derek was a Founding Member of Sales Hacker, Inc. starting in May 2020. Derek also held the position of Executive Member at Pavilion, a private membership organization for commercial growth operators, starting in December 2019.
In 2021, Derek worked as the Vice President of Sales at ServiceCore, where they developed software to optimize waste management businesses. Derek held this position from August 2021 to November 2022. Additionally, they created and led the Next Level Sales Leadership Project, which aimed to support new sales leaders through a podcast and newsletter from April 2020 to May 2022.
Derek's career began in 2007 when they worked as a Supervisor at Michigan State University's University Development department. Derek then ventured into sales roles, starting as an Inside Sales Representative at DELL, INC. from September 2008 to September 2009. Derek later became an Elite Solutions Consultant, specializing in acquisitions sales for larger companies. Derek also worked as an Account Executive at Indeed.com from July 2013 to December 2014, and as an Account Manager and later an Account Executive at ZocDoc from August 2010 to June 2013.
Prior to their current role, Derek played significant roles at PatientPop Inc., where they first served as the Director of Sales Development from January 2017 to March 2020. Derek then became a Sales Director, responsible for full-cycle sales, prospecting, and managing the sales pipeline. Derek joined the company as the second sales hire and achieved remarkable revenue success.

Derek Jankowski attended Michigan State University from 2002 to 2008. Derek earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Business Emphasis. In addition to their degree, Derek obtained certifications from Pavilion, including CRO School and Enterprise Go to Market School in March 2023, as well as Revenue Growth Architecture School in July 2021.
