How You'll Make a Difference: 

Arkos Health is building a team of passionate, resourceful and dedicated team members to focus on market-based engagement. As the leader of the patient engagement, you will be responsible building and leading a team to enable the development and execution of innovative ideas to market the value of Arkos Health to attributed Medicare patients. Through in-person, telephonic outreach and community events and outreach, your team will build trust-based relationships with attributed patients leading to their engagement with Arkos Health. The team is also accountable for promoting Arkos Health meeting patients where they are, i.e physician offices, hospitals, sub-acute facilities, and long-term care settings, homes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Review and provide performance feedback to the department Staff, including annual performance reviews, and implement improvement plans

  • Establish individual and department weekly, monthly, and annual goals that support a minimum 4 STAR rating for Medicare, and 66th percentile on HEDIS measures for Medicaid

  • Directs, supervises, and prioritized day-to-day functions of the department, ensuring gaps in care are captured and validated

  • Provide updated education regarding quality initiatives to staff and external stakeholders

  • Attend educational and demonstration activities to remain the subject matter of the department

  • Evaluate data collected to develop strategies to improve overall performance

  • Maintain inventory of the department point-of-care testing supplies

  • Monitor data entry and maintain appropriate documentation and tracking for quality initiatives Director of Quality

  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively, efficiently, and effectively with internal and external stakeholders Collaborate with other internal department leaders to establish processes that support efficiency and overall goals

  • Follow procedures, practices, policies, and guidelines to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of patients

  • Create, maintain, and improve policies and procedures for efficient department workflow

  • Assist in investigation and resolution of data collection for all lines of business

  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the organization

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Bachelors degree in related field

  • 3+ years of experience management experience, with at least 1 of those years in healthcare

  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare environment

  • Recent and related experience working with HEDIS STARS Program

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

  • Experience in Electronic Health Records

  • Experience with verifying eligibility and navigating through Insurance Portals

  • Experience with CPT II codes

  • Knowledge HCC’s and Medical Diagnosis
