John Orcutt

As the Director of Secondary Operations, Mr. Orcutt is instrumental in the coordination of district, school and community initiatives intended to improve student achievement across all secondary subject areas. Mr. Orcutt works with their secondary principals, department coordinators, district leaders, teachers, students, and community members to ensure that they are providing students with engaging and relevant learning opportunities that prepare them for success in college, career, and life.

Mr. Orcutt has served as the Executive Principal at Arlington High School from 2020 - 2022. Prior to coming to Arlington, Mr. Orcutt was a House Principal for two years and an Assistant Principal for seven years at White Plains High School. He taught social studies at New Paltz High School. Mr. Orcutt studied at SUNY Cortland where he earned a dual BA in Anthropology and Secondary Social Studies Education with a minor in History and Master's Degree in Social Studies Education with a minor in History. He earned his Certificate of Advanced Study in School District and Building Leadership at SUNY New Paltz.
