Jason Jenkins

Jason Jenkins currently serves as Assistant Fire Chief at Arlington County Fire Department, beginning this role in March 2023. With a diverse career in fire services, Jason Jenkins has held multiple leadership positions including Chief Fire Officer and Chief EMS Officer at the Center for Public Safety Excellence since January 2014, and Assistant Fire Chief at Fairfax County Government from February 1997 to March 2023. Additional experience encompasses participation in the Fire Service Executive Development Institute with the International Association of Fire Chiefs from February 2020 to December 2022, and work as a Flight Paramedic with both Phi Air Medical Group and Inova Health System. In terms of education, Jason Jenkins holds multiple degrees including a Master’s in Intelligence Analysis from The Johns Hopkins University, an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor's in Fire Service Administration from the University of Maryland.
