Christopher Anderson has extensive work experience in the field of fine arts and music education. Christopher has held various roles throughout their career, starting as an Assistant Director of Bands at Keller High School from 1996 to 1998. Christopher then became the Interim Assistant Director of Bands at Abilene Christian University from 1998 to 2000. Following that, they served as the Assistant Director of Bands at Stephen F. Austin State University from 2000 to 2003. Christopher continued their career at Texas Tech University as an Associate Professor of Music Education from 2003 to 2011. Christopher then joined Arkansas Tech University as an Associate Professor of Music Education from 2011 to 2014. Christopher's career progressed to becoming the Executive Director of Fine Arts at Lubbock ISD from 2014 to 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Fine Arts at Arlington ISD, which they have been in since 2018.
Christopher Anderson received their Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Conducting from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Conducting from Northwestern University in 1996. Christopher began their education journey by earning a Bachelor's degree in Music Teacher Education from Abilene Christian University in 1995.
