Doug Bredar

Doug Bredar is an experienced racing professional based in Kentucky, currently serving as a Jockey Agent since January 2010. Prior roles include Racing Secretary at Gulfstream Park for a brief period in early 2009, and similar positions at Harrah's Louisiana Downs from March 2006 to October 2007, as well as at Churchill Downs and Ellis Park between 2002 and 2006, where Bredar held the dual title of Racing Secretary and Director of Racing. Previous positions also include Director of Racing/Racing Secretary at Turf Paradise (1999-2000), Racing Secretary at Prairie Meadows (1998-1999), and Racing Secretary at The Woodlands (1996-1997). Doug Bredar holds a B.S. in Agriculture from the University of Arizona, having attended from 1982 to 1984, and previously studied at Lake Forest College from 1980 to 1982.
