Steve Larsen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the animal science and food production sectors. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at R3 Consulting, LLC., since August 2024, Steve specializes in transforming complex scientific concepts into actionable business strategies and optimizing on-farm production practices to enhance consumer demand for animal protein. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Technical Services at Arm & Hammer Animal and Food Production, Assistant Vice President and Director of Pork Safety at the National Pork Board, and Sr Food Technologist at Tyson. Steve holds a PhD in Veterinary Microbiology, a Master of Science in Meat Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences, all from Iowa State University.
