Steve Halter

Steve Halter is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in system-on-chip (SoC) architecture and hardware engineering. Currently serving as Vice President of SoC Architecture at Arm since August 2023, Steve previously held the position of Vice President of AXG XSE SoC Architecture at Intel Corporation from July 2022 to August 2023. At NXP Semiconductors, from June 2020 to July 2022, Steve led a global engineering team specializing in Automotive and Edge Processing SoCs. Steve's career also includes a lengthy tenure at Qualcomm, where Steve progressed through various engineering roles, ultimately serving as Sr Director of Engineering. Steve holds both a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego.
