Jorge Villarreal

Jorge Villarreal, CPA has a diverse work experience in the field of taxation. Jorge currently serves as a Tax Director at Armanino LLP starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a CPA at Carr, Riggs & Ingram from August 2019 to March 2022. Before that, they were a Direct Tax Director at Trafigura from July 2017 to June 2019. Jorge also worked as an International Tax Manager at Atwood Oceanics from June 2015 to June 2017 and at Rowan Companies, Inc. from June 2009 to June 2015. Jorge began their career as a Tax Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers from January 2008 to June 2009 and interned at KPMG from January 2007 to May 2007.

Jorge Villarreal, CPA, completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and International Business from the University of Notre Dame in 2006. Jorge then pursued a Master's degree in Accounting-Tax from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, which they completed in 2007. Jorge is also a Certified Public Accountant, licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
