Shalinda Weerasinghe

Shalinda Weerasinghe has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security. Shalinda began their career in 2017 as a Cyber Security Trainee Analyst at KPMG Sri Lanka. In the same company, they later held roles as an Information Security Analyst and an Associate Consultant - Cyber Security. In 2019, they moved to Octopus BI as a Manager - Information Security, where they conducted Manual and Automated Penetration testing and integrated security tools, standards, and processes into the product life cycle. In 2021, they began working as a Visiting Lecturer at ESOFT Metro Campus. Currently, they are a Cyber Security Engineer at Armature Systems.

Shalinda Weerasinghe's education history includes a Master of Cyber Security and Forensics from the University of Westminster from 2019 to 2020, a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology Specialized in Cyber Security from SLIIT from 2014 to 2018, and a secondary school education from Trinity College Kandy from 2001 to 2014.
