Elena Stotts - Lee

Elena Stotts-Lee is a highly experienced professional in data analysis and research, currently serving as a Senior Data Officer at the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) since May 2024. Prior to this, Elena worked as a Junior Researcher at the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA), where responsibilities included data collection, analysis, and visualization, culminating in the development of interactive web applications using R Shiny. Elena has also gained diverse experience through internships and collaborative roles, including a position at the Irish Refugee Council, research assistance at Trinity College Dublin, and involvement in various organizations focused on advocacy and community service. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Sociology from Trinity College Dublin, a Master's degree in Economics of Public Policy from the Barcelona School of Economics, and an exchange program at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
