Syed was promoted to Manager of Technical Marketing in 2012 and then to Director of Worldwide Sales Engineering in 2013. In this role, they were responsible for leading the worldwide sales engineering team and driving impressive sales growth worldwide. Syed standardized operations and coached the sales team to top performance.

In 2018, Syed Ghayur joined Aryaka Networks as VP of Global Sales Engineering. In this role, they were responsible for leading the global sales engineering team and driving growth across all regions. Syed successfully grew the team and delivered impressive results.

Next, they completed an Executive Leadership Program from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Finally, they received an MS in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University. In addition to their educational accomplishments, they also hold certifications from Cisco in CCIE 16011 - Routing & Switching and Security, as well as from (ISC)² in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
