James Michels

James Michels is the Vice President of Advancement at Army Distaff Foundation. James has over 10 years of experience in the corporate relations and event planning industries.

Previously, Michels was the Corporate Relations Liaison for SPI Entertainment, Inc. where they were responsible for new business development in the mid-Atlantic region. SPI is a leading talent acquistion, event and concert producer and promoter in Las Vegas.

Prior to joining SPI, Michels served as the Vice President of Development & Communications for Catholic Charities Diocese of Arlington for 7 years. In this role, they oversaw all fundraising and marketing efforts for the organization.

Michels has a proven track record of success in developing relationships with both corporate and individual donors. James is a strategic thinker with a passion for helping others. Under their leadership, the Army Distaff Foundation has seen a significant increase in support from both individuals and corporations.
