Jessica Ortner

Jessica O. currently serves as the Director at The Honig Foundation since November 2023 and is a Senior Associate and Lawyer focusing on Litigation & Dispute Resolution at Arnold Bloch Leibler, where Jessica co-chairs the Women’s Network. Additional roles include Board Observer positions at Shalom and The Observership Program since January 2023. Prior experience includes work as a Lawyer at Allens in Intellectual Property Disputes & Investigations, a role as a seconded Lawyer at Westpac focusing on Regulatory Investigations, and an Associate position at the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Jessica's career began as a Senior Paralegal and Summer Clerk at Allens, along with experience as a Student Researcher at the UNSW Human Rights Clinic. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB, Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts (Distinction) from UNSW and has furthered education at The College of Law Australia and Columbia University. Early education includes a Cert IV in Performing Arts and Teaching from Brent Street Performing Arts and an ATAR of 98.55 from Reddam House.
