Allie Salz

Allie Salz is an experienced public administration professional currently serving as a Strategic Initiatives Fellow at Arnold Ventures since August 2023. Previously, Allie held multiple roles at the City of Sugar Land, TX, including Interim Director of Budget & Strategy and Budget & Strategy Manager, where responsibilities included aligning strategic plans with budgets, managing departmental budgets totaling nearly $125 million, and overseeing the corporate strategic planning cycle. Allie's earlier experience includes serving as a Budget Analyst for the City of Wichita, Kansas, and various positions with Johnson County, KS Government, and Woodward, Inc., demonstrating strong expertise in budget planning, performance measurement, and stakeholder engagement. Allie holds a Master of Public Administration from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Colorado State University.
