James Reed

James Reed is a seasoned professional in bio-manufacturing and engineering, currently serving as a Senior BioManufacturing Process Engineer at Arranta Bio since December 2020. In this role, James collaborates with Process Development groups to integrate commercial insights into the development of new products, utilizing operational and technical expertise for troubleshooting and technology transfer. Prior experience includes a tenure at Cabot Corporation from March 2005 to November 2020 as a Senior Associate, Mechanical Engineer, and Process Engineer, where James acted as the primary liaison for R&D on project developments, overseeing product scale-ups and ensuring process efficiency. Earlier, James served as a Process Shift Lead at Amcor, Inc. from June 1994 to December 2004, maintaining production objectives and product quality. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
