Thapelo Ncube Whitfield

Thapelo Ncube Whitfield, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience. Most recently, they served as the Head of Assessment and Credentialing at Array, where they were responsible for overseeing assessment and credentialing processes. Prior to that, Thapelo worked as a Psychometrician Consultant at Array, contributing their expertise in psychometrics. They also held roles at National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME) as an Editorial Assistant, Rutgers University as a Visiting Scholar, Georgia Institute of Technology as an Undergraduate Assessment Specialist, University of North Georgia as an Assistant Director of Assessment, Ncube Properties as a Property Manager, Crypto Tutors as a Crypto Tutor, MathValues as a Vice President, University of Iowa as a Graduate Research GAANN Fellow/ACT Scholar, and Eastern Virginia Medical School as an Assessment Intern.

Thapelo Ncube Whitfield, Ph.D. has an extensive education history. Thapelo obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of West Florida, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they pursued further studies at the University of Iowa, where they earned a Master of Arts degree in Educational Measurement and Statistics from 2014 to 2016. Thapelo continued their academic journey at the University of Iowa, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Measurement, Evaluation, and Statistics from 2016 to 2021.

In addition to their degrees, Thapelo has also obtained certifications to further enhance their educational qualifications. In April 2020, they earned the Student Affairs Assessment Badge from National Louis University. Furthermore, in May 2018, they obtained the College Teaching Certificate from the University of Iowa.
