Mercedes Cooper

Mercedes Yolanda Cooper is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the film and media industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Public Programming at ARRAY since August 2015, Mercedes has also held roles as Director of Programming and Director of Marketing within the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as Marketing Manager at the African American Film Festival Releasing Movement (AFFRM) from September 2013 to August 2015 and participating in the Project: Involve Fellow program at Film Independent in 2010-2011. Educational credentials include an MFA in Film & Video from Columbia College Chicago and a BA in Economics with a concentration in Brazilian Cultural Studies from the University of Maryland.
