Srinivasan Kannan

Srinivasan Kannan has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Srinivasan is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Arro since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Dave - Banking For Humans from 2020 to 2023, where they held the role of Engineering Leader Growth & Partner products. From 2016 to 2020, they served as a Senior Engineering Leader at HBO.

In 2014, Srinivasan founded ResolutionTube where they served as the Founder and Head of Engineering. At ResolutionTube, they developed an Augmented Reality platform for field service workers, using various technologies. Srinivasan also worked with HVAC SMB owners and field techs to design and develop an application suite with an easy learning curve.

Before that, from 2013 to 2014, Srinivasan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Hulu, where they implemented various API services and owned service uptime and deployment. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at Groupon as a Senior Staff Engineer, developing real-time bidding platforms.

Srinivasan also worked at Expedia from 2011 to 2012, where they served as a Senior Software Design Engineer, and at Microsoft, holding multiple roles from 2000 to 2011, including Senior Software Engineer and Developer/Incubator. At Microsoft, they worked on various projects, including the Office service infrastructure and Microsoft Works Advertisement Framework.

Srinivasan Kannan attended AM Jain College from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications, including one in "Berkeley Fintech: Frameworks, Applications, and Strategies" from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, in 2022, and another certification from the same institution in the same course in 2021.
