Jon Merlo has a diverse work experience in the field of product development and engineering. Jon currently holds the position of Director of Product Development at Arsenal Medical, where they have been working since 2018. Prior to this role, they served as a Sr. Project Manager and Project Manager at the same company.
Before joining Arsenal Medical, Jon worked at Lyra Therapeutics from 2012 to 2018. During their tenure there, they held the positions of Product Development Manager, Senior R&D Engineer, and R&D Engineer. Notably, they managed the product development of a drug delivery depot system for the treatment of chronic sinusitis.
Jon also gained valuable experience as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at QinetiQ North America in 2011, an R&D Co-op at 480 Biomedical, Inc. in 2010, and an Engineering Co-op at FMC-Technologies, Inc. in 2009.
Jon Merlo completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, from 2014 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, graduating in 2012. In addition to their formal education, Jon Merlo also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in October 2020.
